Besides becoming more obsessive with detail I started sculpting the paint more elaborately and finely, in addition to my continuing textural work. To suggest timelessness for the vault I used stalactites and stalagmites, here patiently built up using layers of paint mixed with medium to extrude boldly from the smooth surface of the exterior facing.
