In a 20° house not only would we sleep under an electric blanket but electrify our mattresses and pillows as well, turning our beds into human waffle irons. At work the next day people would compliment us on our fine indentations and crispy edges. Finally we would electrify our spouses and lovers, getting us merrily through the coldest of winters.
