These people are using fanciful telescopes to find their signs of the zodiac, high atop a flattop peak. Once they’ve found them they’re invited inside the central refreshment area to relax. The zany costumes add to the Boschian feel of the scope designs, which range from playful, as in the finned telescope, to 19th-Century, as in the skeletal telescope.
