This painting is about the stuff in our lives. It’s nice to own stuff, sometimes necessary, but our stuff can easily do us in if we let it. The more physical stuff we have, the more it costs us in space and mobility. Likewise our non-physical stuff has its price— mental baggage can interfere with purposeful thought and sometimes distort thinking.
