My pouring technique for attaining smooth skies was by now perfected. This is the first of the blue pours, a smooth, luminous marbleization. The girders of the steel frame are built up out from the panel using layers of paint and sculpted. For consistency small homemade guiding tools are used to help even and level the paint buildup.
