We are apparently on one of the moons of a gas giant, a Jupiter-like planet. Two of its other moons appear above and to the left of the glowing sphere. Unworn mountain peaks in the background suggest a young geology. The entire left plane of the landscape consists of an open-air factory, in which rows of identical robot arms are engaged in self-replication.
