I was going for interaction between the three characters— life, death, and protagonist. Craps tables were still fresh in my memory from Reno. Still I made minor changes consciously and unconsciously. For example the side-opening is opposite the stickman instead of properly on his side of the table, enabling me to show piles of chips and a cash drop slot.
