The volcano next to the theater screen is the only one in the painting that is shooting straight up, so lava from this spout lands near it when it falls back. Two spots are burning in front of the cone— it’s obvious that it is emmission from this volcano that set fire to the screen. To the right in the distance another cluster of spouts is erupting.
