A few girls are upbeat and passionate,
    intent on finding their life’s love.
But most seem either skittish, burned-out, or
    keeping convent-options open.

Why is it so hard to find the first kind?
    All I know is: for lots
of guys it can be a long, lonely road
    to that first peck-on-the-cheek.
