THEN IS NOW
 
Watching old TV shows makes me wonder:
    I must have missed the Seventies.
I don’t remember parties, chicks, or love.
    Was I too uptight or something?

Wishing I could redo my wasted youth—
    Puff! Suddenly I’m there
(realizing present is past-to-be).
    This time I have no excuse.
