INFATUATION
 
I’m crazy about a lovely sweet thing
    (she’s been with the same guy for years)
who, after promising me I was next,
    changed her mind and said I wasn’t.

As a very amateur magician
    I dream of practicing
the sawing-a-girl-in-two trick on her
    with my rusty old Stanley.
