One of my friends named his band UFO Diner, inspired by this painting— their poster used the neon sign I designed for this fictional diner. Crop circles surround the diner, and the strange-looking cars in the parking lot suggest that if not aliens quite unusual individuals might tend to be the customers silhouetted in the windows by its bright lights.
