As I matured, drive-in theaters lessened as part of my experience. I didn’t go through a passion pit phase— I was slow in learning what necking meant. I heard about guys getting booted for trying to get dates in free by hiding them in the trunks of their cars, but thought they should have been cut some slack just for managing to find girls who’d do that.
