The wreck of the Titanic had just been discovered, so I was inspired to do a series inspired by this famous disaster. My plan was to do one Titanic painting a year through 2012, the one-hundredth anniversary of its sinking— 26 in all. Now (2006) with Car Series my focus, I only have four completed, a fifth stranded almost-done, and two more envisioned.
