I began a running joke among my friends: if one of us deliberately did anything that portrayed himself as a crackpot or screwball, he would have to say “thank you” (for the compliment) before the recipient had a chance to say “you nut you” and only if the recipient thought it. Thus the title of this self-portrait, a spoof of my fascination with Titanic.
