People ask me why I didn’t depict these ears as they would have looked after their respective misfortunes. There are several reasons— a viewer might have just enjoyed an expansive seafood dinner, complete with oyster or snail; it helps make the composition more harmonious; and this way is anticipatively conceptual, in other words cool :)
