I’ve never been in love, at least as I imagine it. Since everyone has been in love and I’m an ultraromantic, one possibility is that I’ve been in love but didn’t recognize it. I’ve had strong feelings for women, but their feelings for me were less than mine for them— likewise there have been those crazy about me whose feelings were not reciprocated.
