What if Hieronymus Bosch had been born in the Twentieth Century and had a fear of flying? While I wanted to work a Boschian theme, my inspiration was actually competitions such as tractor pulls at fairs. Two-man teams compete to pull crashed airplanes out of the ground using various Rube Goldberg contraptions, many if not most obviously homemade.
