The Iraq War is the first war I’ve demonstrated against. Instead of picketing the Vietnam War, I protested the actions of the Urban Renewal Agency, instrumental in the destruction of a three-block row of historic buildings on High Street in Lexington, Kentucky. Among the structures were two pioneer log houses, the oldest in the city.
